When you’re ready to close on your new home and geared up to move, you’ll want to have your utility services in place and ready to begin on the day of closing. Try to avoid any service interruptions as much as possible. This is a crucial step in the process.

It’s easier than ever to set up your accounts, either online, or by contacting the respective customer service lines!

For sellers, make sure to close out any accounts as of the day of closing or, when possible, a few days beyond to ensure there is no lapse in service.

You will not want your home without power for the new family as they are moving in. There may be a slight overlapping in service but it will be quick and extremely inexpensive.

Power/Electricity Service in Phoenix:

There are two main electricity providers in The Valley of the Sun, Salt River Project (SRP) and Arizona Public Service (APS). Your service area depends on your location. Basic rule of thumb is SE Valley = SRP.
