Arcadia is a unique, highly sought after neighborhood situated in a fantastic Valley location.

It is bounded by 32nd Street to 64th Street between Camelback Road and Thomas Road.

There are a variety of architectural styles in Arcadia, ranging from sprawling ranch houses built in the post-war era to newer homes that have been remodeled or rebuilt in more recent years.

Arcadia is a former orange grove with its own irrigation system, and rows of citrus trees line its blocks of quaint homes built in the 1950s and 1960s on large lots.

There’s a quaint, Midwestern feel to the neighborhoods, a sense of community, and plenty of diversity in architectural styles as well.

The lush, green, tranquil, mature landscapes of the irrigated Arcadia parcels are not found in many places in Phoenix.

Remnants of orange and date groves still suggest a hint of “rural” and so do the quiet streets dotted with whatever the architectural style–Ranch, Revival, Pueblo style, or some architectural blend.

Arcadia is known for its popular local neighborhood “hangouts” such as The Henry restaurant, Chelsea’s Kitchen, OHSO Brewery, and The Vig.

There are also several upscale shopping options such as The Biltmore Shopping Center.

Arcadia is located in the Scottsdale Unified School District, offering some of the best schools in the state.

Only minutes away from the best of Scottsdale, featuring some of the best schools in the state of Arizona, and has a very easy, close proximity to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Arcadia is an amazing place to call home and is one of the most desirable (and expensive places to live in the Valley just outside of Paradise Valley.)

If you love the concept of the Arcadia area but don’t have the budget to support an estate, no worries! Arcadia Lite (to the west) offers mid-range prices for charming homes (mostly Ranch-style, built in the 50s and 60s).

While you won’t have a lush, green Arcadia estate with acreage, you will still have the Arcadia feel completely. Majestic and magnificent are in abundance within Arcadia!
