Know why you’re selling your home.

The first place to start for any seller is to ask yourself why you are selling your home.

  • Are you moving out of state?
  • Is your family growing and you need the money to purchase a bigger home?
  • Is the market hot and you’re looking to take advantage of it now?

The real estate market in Phoenix has changed yet again here mid 2023. Supply has returned to a lesser number of homes available with many would-be sellers deciding to stay in their homes due to the rise in interest rates.

There are still plenty of people moving into the Metro-Phoenix area. We are growing and many businesses are relocating here. Naturally, more people follow.

At the time of this writing, June of 2023, price points and appreciation remain strong and due to the lack of supply, homes with curb appeal, in good condition, in desireable areas are still selling for strong price points. One thing that remains true is that “life” happens and with that, people still need to transact on both sides of the table.

As always, it’s important to think about your financial goals. After doing some research, you should know how much you want to make by selling your home. Having an experienced agent helps you analyze the market and better understand the range of outcomes you can expect.
