We do not recommend: 0 starsWe were in need for someone to provide us valuable information for moving to Arizona including finding us a place that we can spend our retirement years. We hired Kurt to find our home and although we were still living in CA we thought we could trust him to find the right home including to visit the home for us. After visiting the home during open house he told us that the home was immaculate and that we should really consider raising our offer to have the best chance of getting it since there were multiple offers. We asked him several times whether this home was worth paying over the asking price and he said it was and that this was such a beautiful home that he was so jealous and wished he could have it for himself. He also said that this home is a rare find and that this kind of home does not come around often. He somehow convinced us to pay $80,000 over asking price because there were multiple offers in this price range and that if we had any chance for the home we needed to go higher.However, he left out valuable info about the home that now we regret buying after trusting that he will do right by us. He did not tell us that there was a cornfield behind the backyard wall that has grown four feet above the wall and brings all kinds of bugs, mosquitos, fly’s, flees, bees, scorpions, ants and you can go on and on. It’s practically unusable backyard and in addition there’s a dairy farm that’s growing this cornfield and 70 percent of time there is an unbearable smell from cow manure that you just can’t be out there, making the backyard unusable. Even at night time around 8 pm there is this smell that chases you back into the home. He was charismatic enough to convince us that he was perfect for job. Now we are sorry we did because the home while being beautiful on the inside is a nightmare enjoying time in the backyard. Please beware that when working with this person you cannot place your trust in his hands although it seems that he has done well in the past for others based on the 5 star reviews which also let to us choosing him for the job. But all it takes is one bad review to let others know of our bad experience with this person. He really didn’t care about helping us the buyers and retirement folks as they both got their higher commission.We don’t really write many reviews, but we really felt the need to write this review because this person is not honest and cannot be trusted.
